It's User Feedback,

All The Way Down

I first began to explore the vast array of human experiences while studying French literature in college, where I found myself not simply translating language, but translating culture.  Coupled with a solid dose of philosophy, I discovered my passion for analyzing, understanding, and ultimately uniting many different points of view.  It was apparent to me how rich life could be if I spoke the same language, both literally and figuratively, as those around me.

After my studies, I became a purveyor of lusty libations and long-lasting memorable guest experiences, who turned his eye toward user interfaces when I was tasked with managing the bar.  I quickly discovered the impact I could make by developing an effective system for my team – by focusing on the user experience of my staff with the product and point-of-sale, I could create optimal guest interactions on a larger scale.  Once I learned that this endeavor had not only a name, but a whole field dedicated to its study and practice, I put my tins on a shelf, picked up a marker, and started to sketch.  I'm now working to identify users' needs and desires , and design systems that spread delight much further than I could with a simple shake and a smile.
